I have an older Garmin GPS Maps 376C which we used exclusively for our long distance motorcycle trips. Fantastic unit but it needs replacing. One feature that makes it extremely valuable for us during rides is the XM Weather which we receive via the added optional XM weather antenna. This gives us real time weather as we ride as long as we are in connection with the weather satellites. All new GPS units seem to rely on Bluetooth connections to smart phones for their weather data. This might be OK but we frequently ride in areas with little or poor cell service. Does anyone make a portable GPS that still uses the XM satellite subscription and data to get real time weather? We have weaved our way around many storms because of that feature in my 376C unit and hate to give it up.
